Vicar of Christ Church since 2000, before that Richard was curate here after working in a church in Bristol. He combines being a man of the cloth with a past training as a medical doctor.

Tom is married to Helen and they have two children. They previously lived in Winchmore Hill while Tom studied at Oak Hill College. Before training for ministry in the Church of England, he was an Inland Revenue tax collector! Helen has worked as a Probation Officer for about six years, and may continue this in the future (she is currently on maternity leave). They have lived in London for 11 years now, but Tom is originally from Derby and Helen from the Hampshire/Surrey area.
Tom enjoys watching (and sometimes playing) football and tennis. In a (losing) battle to beat the belly, he goes jogging when he can.

Mike is married to Michelle and they are excitedly expecting their first child in late November this year! Before being called to Christ Church, they lived near Kingston-upon-Thames and attended Holy Trinity Brompton in South Kensington, where they met as part of the Student ministry (Mike worked there as a Student Pastor for three years). Mike is originally from Tanzania - his parents were missionaries there and his father is currently a vicar in the Church of England. Michelle's family are from Southwick, near Brighton.
Mike is a massive sports fan and is always up for a kick-about, a little tennis or a round of golf. He also loves good food and drink (and lots of it), a good book or film, and tries to escape to the great outdoors whenever he can.

Violet is originally from west London but has been at Christ Church since 2007. She started her degree but decided not to finish it as she really believed God had different things in store. She loves chocolate more than anything, probably only second to Jesus! She has an aversion to exercise but should do more . . . She loves youth work, thinks young people are amazing, and can't wait to see the big unimaginable things God has in store this year and in the years to come.
Originally from the West Country, Steph first came
to Christ Church in 2006 while studying at Middlesex University. She was baptised here in 2007
and regards Christ Church as very much her home church. Steph started working for Christ Church in 2008
and has a heart for working with young people. Her other loves are music, singing, dancing and
all things musical theatre. She is looking forward to what God will teach her during her time at Christ Church.

Ashley joined Christ Church in 2008 from Canterbury and is also studying part-time with Oak Hill College. He is married to Annie who is a primary school teacher, and they have a young daughter. He says "It's an amazing privilege to be paid to do what I love best - to bring the love of God into the lives of children".

David trained as a conductor at the Guildhall School of Music and studied at London Bible College (now London School of Theology). He has been Head of Music and Head of R. E. at schools in Enfield. Somewhere along the way he also learned to play the trumpet, and (when he can get someone else to play) enjoys escaping from the keyboard to play descants and fanfares.
As well as leading our music ministry at Christ Church, David runs the Adoramus Choir and Orchestra, has been involved in various other Christian music groups in the area, and has planned and directed music for BBC Worship programmes.

Wendy has been a member of Christ Church for over 30 years. She recently retired from managing the church's pre-school and now hopes to put her energies into helping the church family grow in the love and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ and into developing more links with the community. Her church responsibilities include working with the pastoral team and CAMEO (the group for over-50s), helping with DISCOVER courses, and co-ordinating art and craft work for the children's groups. She is married to Graham, a town planning consultant, and they have one daughter who is a secondary English and Media Studies teacher.
Paul runs a family business manufacturing road signs, and also manages holiday rentals in Egypt, Spain and Bulgaria. Before coming to Christ Church he was at All Souls', Langham Place, where he met his wife Sue; they have two sons. Paul is looking forward to seeing Christ Church grow, while keeping the gospel of Jesus at the centre of all we do.

Jessica works as a technical writer for a local IT company, but does her best to have a real life too. Originally from Cardiff, she studied at Cambridge, then moved to the North London area in the late 80s and got involved at Christ Church soon afterwards.
Jessica spends a lot of her spare time singing and/or helping to keep choirs running. She also enjoys cooking and is rather good at making Christmas puddings.
