Faith in the Future update
T and B Contractors Ltd are now starting work on Church House and plan to
complete by March 2011. Note that the car park will be closed completely until
the building work is finished, so please make other arrangements for parking.
Thank you to all who helped to make the Summer Fayre a success; we raised over £2000. Thank you also to all those who have worked so hard to clear Church House and relocate the offices.
The side chapel in Church is currently being used to store materials for toddler and youth ministries, to continue here during the building work. The Church Office and Music Office are now located in the vestries in Church.
The Gardening Team will meet on Saturday 31 July, 10.00am outside church. Please come and help to make our grounds neat and welcoming.

New evening service to start!
In September we will be bringing ages together in an informal, lively and contemporary new
7.00pm service. Koinonia will meet before the service at 5.30pm to build discipleship among our
young people, releasing Thursday KLUB for outreach to young people seeking God.
Please pray and come to share in what God is doing in the new service.
Update on Youth/Student Workers
If you would like to make a contribution to a gift for Violet Douglas when she
finishes in August, please give it to one of the Churchwardens.
We are pleased that Steph Wrench is able to stay on for a third year to give continuity
to our youth team as Mike Tufnell settles in.
Trent School said goodbye to Headteacher Keith Taylor who retired this week. Please pray for staff and governors leading our church school until a new appointment is made.
PA operators needed
If you have experience of operating a sound system and have time to give on Sunday evenings
during August, we would like to hear from you. Please contact David Hooke
or Jackie Partridge as soon as possible.
