Trent Church of England Primary School is a voluntary aided Church of England mixed junior / infants school. It caters for children aged 5 - 11 years, with one form of 30 pupils for each year group. Children are admitted to Reception class in the September prior to their fifth birthday.
The school aims to educate its children in such a way as to help them attain the highest possible standards, a cademically, creatively and socially. We believe this is best achieved in a happy, caring and purposeful environment founded on the tenets of the Christian faith. As well as worship in class and in assembly, children take part in services in Christ Church, where parents, relatives and friends are always welcome.
The National Curriculum, Literacy and Numeracy strategies form the basis for all areas of study. Children are offered a wide variety of learning experience in English, mathematics, science, design technology, history, geography, physical education, art and music.
